1942
In 1942 Lactosan was established by a small group of industrious Danish businessmen, including business man and designer, Mr. Tage Klint.

1951
Christian Jessen, factory manager at that time, developed a unique technique to produce cheese powder.

1950-1970s
In 1953 Lactosan obtained an agreement to produce La Vache qui rit cheeses for the French firm “Fromageries Bel”. We develop our range of Pure Cheese Powders.

1991
Lactosan settles its 2nd production facility in Uruguay.

2000
First Cheeline production in Uruguay.

2007
Development of Creamline range in Uruguay.

2009
We start to develop our range of cheese powders with special flavour enhancing features in Uruguay.

2010
Establishment of LACTOSAN-SANOVO Ingredients Group.

2017
We develop Yoguline in Uruguay.

2019
We develop LFL-Lactofreeline in Uruguay. The first worldwide range of Lactose-Free Cheese Powders.

2023
Lactosan develops new product line Cheeblend, provides dairy and sweet flavour notes.
